Bio

Payton’s father drilled the concept of hard work into him at a young age. Payton was taught to work for everything he has. He’s not one who wants to just glide through life, he’s not someone who wants handouts. Payton’s belief in hard work is perhaps why he has such athletic prowess. Even when he hurts, even when it’s hopeless, Payton is the boy who will keep going. It’s that kind of thinking that kept his father alive in the military. And it’s that kind of thinking that his father passed down to him. Despite all of Payton’s toughness, he is not rough, his mother made sure of that. She instilled his love of the beach, and the balance it takes to surf, the beauty of a sunset. Often, he and his mother would just go for walks along the coast. He’s always felt a pull to the ocean, and as soon as he was old enough he got a job working on the beach. He learned to swim, and eventually became a lifeguard. Payton may have tried many sports, but swimming is his absolute best, and he was the star of the swim team. He did well socially too, his swimmers body certainly made him popular with the girls around the school. Payton’s seen how hard work pays off. His family could never afford to send him to TEI, but they don’t need to. Payton’s hard work was shown when he was admitted to TEI on a full athletic scholarship.

At TEI Payton has tried to continue his climb of success, rejoining the swim team, even in making it into Epsilon Delta Phi, a fraternity which is known for being particular about who they allow to join. Perhaps all of Payton’s success has given him an ego, but he is showing no signs of stopping. This year, he intends to run for president of the fraternity.

+ Flirty, Hardworking, Athletic

- Shallow, Insensitive, Condescending

Connections

Zeke Sparrow: Zeke and Payton are fraternity brothers. This means they have a bond. It’s more than being brothers by blood, they are brothers by choice. But not all brothers like each other, and when it comes to Zeke, these two boys can’t stand each other. Zeke is Payton’s main competition to become fraternity president. Zeke hasn’t had to work a day in his life. He’s a legacy at TEI and in Epsilon Delta Phi, which means he just coasted right in here. And even if he wasn’t, his father could pay his way into anywhere Zeke wanted. He’s everything Payton isn’t, and everything Payton stands against.

Dylan Reynold: Dylan happens to be best friends with Zeke, Payton’s biggest rival so it makes sense that Dylan would have it out for him. He’s another guy who has used his fathers wealth to do what ever he pleased, but Dylan’s even worse than Zeke. Where Zeke at least has some integrity, Dylan does whatever he pleases to whoever he wants.

Adina Wood: Payton believes in hard workers. As far as he’s concerned, no one has worked harder than Adina. He met the girl in the library late one night and, intrigued, introduced himself. He learned of the girls story, and was awe struck. The two, sharing similar beliefs, became closer, and Adina has proven to be a good friend to Payton. She disapproves of his membership in EDP, but she believes that if he does gain the presidency than maybe there is some good to be found in a fraternity.

“Dreams, if they’re any good, are always a little bit crazy. ”
― Ray Charles

Bio

Ace was born only minutes after his twin, Adina, although he often refers to her as his ‘little sister’. The twins never really knew their parents, after they perished while they were still young. They never did learn the details of their parents death, as they were far too young to remember, and their Aunt, who became their legal guardian, simply refused to tell them the story. In fact, their Aunt was refused to do a lot for them, and was less of an Aunt to them, and more of a jailer. That’s why, Ace convinced Adina that they must sneak out, and one night, after slipping sleeping pills into their Aunt’s tea, they escaped. They were careful to avoid getting caught by any authorities, for they’d rather be fending on the streets on their own, than separated in a shelter or trapped again by the cruel crone that was their Aunt. On their own, Ace was able to experiment with everything and anything he desired. A very curious child, while his sister worked and performed labour, Ace was developing his talents. They each had their own way to make money, and for Ace, he discovered a remarkable musical talent, and was able put together his own instruments out of odds and ends he could find around the city. He began busking, and was such a charmer that he was often the one sent to lower to buy food for the pair, as he was excellent at sweet talking the price of anything down. Eventually, the pair saved enough that they were able to escape to France, where they were out of the reach of the authorities that could turn them back into their Aunt.

Despite not attending school, the twins were always very intelligent, although in different ways. While his sister would read and study books, Ace went out and gathering many real world experiences with his new friends. In every way that Adina was smart, Ace was creative. And where Adina put in hard work, Ace dreamed. The twins’ intelligence however, didn’t stop Ace from getting into trouble. While Adina worked, Ace would often spend the days with others his age, experiencing the world around him. But Ace didn’t have any role models or real teachers in his life, so when he was offered “a line”, he accepted. He trusted his friends, and had no reason to expect that it was bad. This was the beginning of a dark path for Ace. He became addicted, but the twins didn’t have enough money to support his addiction, so he was constantly pawning off his friends, which drove them away. His constant on and off made Ace dangerous at home with Adina, and one day, Adina left. She couldn’t stand to be with Ace in the state he was in. She left, but she wasn’t gone for long. She could never truly leave her brother. So after a few days, Adina returned, and the threat of loosing his sister, as well as her keeping him under lockdown was enough to end that dark part of his life. But the addiction lingers in him still.

It was only by chance that the twins ended up coming to TEI, for they were doing presentations in different cities across the world. Ace happened upon upon a flyer and brought it home to Adina. He knew they’d never be able to afford to go to the school, but he hoped that something like the thought of university would lighten Adina up, give her something to dream about. And after some sweet-talking, it did. Adina had a dream. For at least one night. They went to a presentation the school was doing and filled out applications. It was almost a miracle when they received their acceptance letters, offered a spot at the next fall semester on a full scholarship. The twins would remain together again, and they was yet another experience to be had, another world to explore. And Ace plans to experience all of it.

+ Charismatic, Adventurous, Talented

- Gullible, Reckless, Flippant

Connections

Adina Wood: Adina is Ace’s twin sister. She’s older than Ace, but only by minutes. The two twins have been through everything together. They bicker and fight, as siblings do, but they care more about each other than anyone else. Adina is the level headed, practical one. She’s a hard worker, and always had a plan. Ace is the dreamer, the adventurer, and he often tries to bring Adina happiness, to give her a break from her routine, and give her a chance to dream.

Orlando Stars: Orlando and Ace are well on their way to becoming best friends. Initially, they bonded over their mutual passion for music, but the more the boys talked, the more they discovered they had in common. They both are people who want to experience the world, and they both seem to have their heads in the clouds.

Zayne White: Zayne is dangerous for Ace. Ace has a bad history with drugs, saved only by his sister. He never wants to risk loosing her again, and Zayne is that risk. Ace is fond of Zayne, and he enjoys spending time with the White brothers. But Zayne is an addict. And Ace can’t allow himself to be dragged back into that. It’s too tempting. Ace has been avoiding Zayne ever since he discovered that Zayne was a user, but he’s bound to run into Zayne eventually.

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”

Bio

The early years of Paisley’s life were some of her happiest. The bond between her and her older sister Delilah, was a strong one. Paisley took after her sister in many ways, and they often spent hours together in the family garden, just being together. Others would often compliment their parents on the sweet, delightful children they had raised. Those girls are gone now. One day, Paisley’s world came to a halt. Delilah was stuck in the hospital, diagnosed with a tumour in her lung. Delilah was dying. Paisley went to work, doing anything and everything she could, pouring money into the healthcare system to save her sister. But Delilah couldn’t be saved. On the day that Delilah died, something snapped within that sweet girl. A different side of her was awakened and it was much darker. Paisley began acting out. She had lost respect for the rules of the world, and instead was doing whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. Paisley  had become a rebel, but she wasn’t a rebel without a cause. Instead of a righteous crusader that she became in the days leading up to her sister’s death, she became more of a Robin Hood. Paisley had changed who she was. Rules meant nothing to Paisley, and nothing mattered but her cause. Paisley will always find a cause.

Her parents hoped that moving to TEI would give her a fresh start. Away from the tragedy of her sister, away from the reputation she had destroyed, and away from the trouble she had gotten herself into. They hoped to regain the sweet girl that vanished years ago. In a way, the move did help Paisley, in a way that sweet girl had begun to live again. The two sides of Paisley seemingly came together. She’s just as much of an activist as she was before, but once again she’s trying out a different path. This time, she’s not doing it alone. She believes in the masses, in movements. She wants to be the spark that can ignite a change in the world. And she thought the girls at Gamma Rho could help her with that. That’s why she joined. Paisley didn’t realize how obedient GR is to their leader. Teamwork is needed, yes, but servitude? It doesn’t suit Paisley. She’s never been one to bow to a leader, much less a dictator. But Paisley isn’t a fool either. She knows about GR’s conflicted past, and she knows that all that it needs now is a revolution. She believes that it’s time for the sorority to evolve, to change. To have unity once again. One of the sorority’s main values is longevity, and Paisley argues that longevity cannot be achieved if you never change. And she seeks to be the change that the sorority needs.

+ Passionate, Caring, Generous

Connections

Aimee Collins: Paisley views Aimee almost as her second. There’s something…magnetic about the girl. Paisley is happiest when she’s around. It’s almost as if she’s found someone who can fill the hole Delilah left in her heart. And Aimee’s support in Paisley’s cause is monumentally important to her. Paisley has taken the responsibility of being Aimee’s guide for her rush.

Helen Sprig: Helen is Gamma Rho’s leader. And Paisley hates her. Helen is a dictator, and she wants to keep it that way. Paisley’s idea of reformation threaten her power, and Helen resents her for it. The two girls are on opposing sides on a divided sorority, just like GR was many years ago.

Hailey Sprig: Paisley has been both loud and quiet. She’s been the centre of attention, and she’s been a wallflower. She’s lived in a shadow, and she’s had an older sister to look up to. Paisley knows how to relate to Hailey, and she’s one of the few people who have taken notice of Hailey on campus. Paisley see’s how Helen treats her younger sister, and hates it. Paisley’s kindness towards Hailey hasn’t gone unnoticed, and the two girls have grown close, much to Helen’s dismay.

Bio

Helen’s a girl with a fire. She’s always been passionate, driven. She’s a girl with goals and someone who will do whatever it takes to win. Helen’s obsessed with control. She’s determined to be in charge. She’s got one other younger sister, so not only is she a role model at home, but she was also class president in high school and head cheerleader. She’s a bit of a queen bee. Now, everyone may have not liked her, but Helen doesn’t care about being liked. Everyone either respected her or feared her. Helen doesn’t believe in luck, she doesn’t believe in patience. She thinks that if you want something to happen you have to go out and make it happen. Although she does have a history of acting out on just a whim, she’s not one to rest long, often planning out her next move for power.

Helen did not rush Gamma Rho as a freshman, rather, she rushed in her second year, taking her first year as a period of transition where she could plan her way to the top. When she chose to rush, it was more than a decision to join a sorority. It was a decision to rule one. She saw the divide within the sorority as her freshman year was the one that followed the splitting of Alpha Lambda. She noticed the vacuum of power that would follow, and how obedient the girls at GR were to their president, so she began working her way to presidency. She has plans for GR however, envying the influence Epsilon Delta Phi has on campus.

For all of Helen’s plotting and her determination, becoming president of GR was the easy part. She needs to shape the greek house into a shining example of what she can do as a leader, to propel herself into the future. She needs the sorority to become stronger than it ever has before. For Helen to make GR what she needs, she must remain unchallenged. Taking notes from EDP, she’s cut admission rates into the sorority. She plans on bringing them closer to EDP, so she’ll play nice with the fraternity, but she wants the greek house removed. If she can create a power vacuum, just like the one that existed when Alpha Lambda was formed, GR can take the new spot as the most influential house on campus.

+ Intelligent, Ambitious, Dedicated

- Rash, Selfish, Controlling

Connections

Callie Song: Callie has reached out to Helen, from sorority leader to sorority leader, in hopes to mend the rift between the two greek houses, and the resentment GR harbours against AL. Helen supports this idea, but hasn’t acted upon it yet. A good leader can get along well with others, and this reconnection could be an excellent chance for Helen to show herself as a peacemaker. But AL is the more popular sorority, and she cannot allow that if GR is to replace EDP.

Paisley Green: Paisley Green is the biggest threat to everything Helen has built over her years at TEI. Paisley is the girl who could single handedly prevent her plans for GR, and ruining Helen’s plan for the future. Helen only has one year to put together her plan to put the sorority at the top, and no one can be allowed to stand in her way.

Hailey Sprig: Helen is Hailey’s older sister, and where Helen makes things happen, Hailey watches things happen. Hailey’s a quieter girl, and Helen has tried her best to be a role model for her, to direct her. The girls have drifted apart however at The Emor Institute, but Helen still keeps up with trying to assist Hailey, telling her where to go and showing her whats best for her.

“You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand.”

Bio

Hailey Sprig is possibly the most intelligent girl attending The Emor Institute, but it’s unlikely anyone will ever notice her, let alone know her brilliance. Hailey is a quiet girl, not antisocial, but she’s someone who prefers to watch and understand than someone who’s likely to make a scene. She loathes being in the limelight. She’ll gladly leave that up to her older sister, Helen, someone who is just as much a dictator as she is a leader. Hailey’s prized possession is her journal, which she’s kept ever since she could write. It’s so much more than a diary of her day, Hailey records everything she learns about the world in her journal, and no one has ever seen it. It possesses secrets far darker than anyone could predict. Hailey prefers solidarity, or closeness with a select few individuals she can trust and rely on. Her sister is far more extroverted, and can actually be rather controlling, especially when to comes to Hailey. It’s almost as if she’s trying to command her. Hailey understands that her sister is doing what she believes is best, and although she knows otherwise, she allows her sister this temporary control. It’s better choice than trying to resist Helen anyways.

Hailey is a wallflower. She sees everything, and she may be one of the only people to claim that she know’s everyone who is on campus, at least by face. No one see’s her as a threat, in fact few even see her at all. They look right past her. Hailey’s the person who is most likely to discover whatever deep dark secret you keep, but despite the silent threat that Hailey is, she’s not malevolent. In fact, she’s a rather warm hearted, kind girl to anyone who bothers to speak to her. She’s extremely empathetic, and if she’s given the opportunity can be the loyalist of friends. Few do notice her however, and she prefers it that way, content to study the world around her.

+ Perceptive, Kind, Intelligent

- Fragile, Over Accommodating, Passive

Connections

Helen Sprig: Helen is far too controlling when it comes to Hailey’s life. Hailey is Helen’s younger sister, and she understands that Helen is just trying to help, but she doesn’t need help. She plays along with Helen though, electing to appease her sister than risk making waves. She’s drifted away from her sister at TEI, giving Hailey her first independence in her life. Hailey almost feels more peaceful without her sister trying to dictate her life.

Evaline Whisper: Evaline doesn’t have a voice, but she’s a girl who has more to say about the world than anyone else Hailey’s ever met. And Hailey admires that. Hailey may notice more about the world, but she does little to interact with it. Evaline is a determined girl who wants to change the world, and Evaline is a girl with the hear to make time, even for the quiet girl like Hailey. The two have spoken, and they’ve begun to grow closer to one another. Evaline is another girl Hailey trusts, and she hopes that some of things she’s observed about the world can be of some help to Evaline.

Paisley Green: Paisley has been more of a sister to Hailey than her actual sister has. Pasiley’s remarkable ability to empathize with her, as well as her extreme kindness, Hailey looks up to Paisley. The girls have grown to be close friends, and Hailey trusts Paisley. Although, Hailey is aware that this relationship angers her sister, it is one of her few acts of independence, and of defiance.

“If you’re spending your entire early 20s chasing the next party, what are you running away from?”
― Demi Lovato

Bio

Dylan has never had a good role model. His mother left when he was seven, after she discovered that Dylan’s father was cheating on her. His father, besides the many women Dylan saw coming and going from the house, was far too busy with work to be a real father. Dylan essentially grew up alone. Dylan’s loneliness at home made him want others around him at all times. Dylan craved popularity, even if they weren’t real friends. Because Dylan’s father neglected him so, it doesn’t take much for Dylan to manipulate his father into giving him money. It’s almost like his father is trying to buy his son, in the same way Dylan is using that money to buy friends. Dylan often would act out, especially when he learned that he didn’t have to face many consequences. All it would take was a sizeable donation to the school, maybe a bit of bribery here and there, even just bail money. Dylan almost took pleasure in wasting his father’s fortune. Throwing money at his problems isn’t the only way Dylan is like his father. As he grew older, he also adopted his attitude toward women.

Dylan has a secret. One night, he and a friend snuck into a bar underage. It wasn’t the first time they had done something like this and it started out like any other night. He took an interest to a girl. He’ll never forget her name. Peyton. He made advances on her, which her boyfriend didn’t take very kindly to. They got into a brawl which got the two of them kicked out. Dylan’s friend stayed behind, in the bar, which meant Dylan was alone when Peyton’s boyfriend came back for more. While the two boys fought, Peyton tried to intervene, to break up the fight, but the boys pushed her off, and she fell into the street, straight into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The driver swerved to avoid her, but failed, ending the girls life, and collided with another building. The driver was killed on impact. Dylan and Peyton’s boyfriend argued, both not wanting to take the blame for her death, but in a panic, together they hid the body, and during which Dylan was able to convince Peyton’s boyfriend if she was found he would most definitely be blamed for her death because, she too had in fact snuck out, and he was the instigator of the bar fight, and if it came down to a he said/she said between him and Dylan, Dylan’s father could buy the jury. The pair swore to keep these secrets to their grave.

On campus, he’s the go to party guy, hosting multiple a week at the house his father bought for him near the school.

+ Fun-loving, Confident, Relaxed

- Unfaithful, Reckless, Secretive

Connections

Payton Blue: Peyton is the name of the girl who’s death Dylan is responsible for. So when he met Payton he was caught completely off guard. It’s almost as if someone is out to get him. Of course, Dylan can’t blame Payton for being named that way, but that doesn’t mean he has to like Payton, or invite him to his parties.

Emily Song: Dylan nearly choked when he saw Emily on campus. It was as if he saw a ghost. In fact, Dylan is convinced that Emily is Peyton’s ghost, but what Dylan doesn’t know, is that Emily is Peyton’s twin.

Zeke Sparrow: Zeke hates Payton. Zeke is rich. Best of all, Zeke understands how awful parents are. They may have completely different situations, but these boys have enough in common that they’ve become instant friends.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
― Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

Bio

Callie’s always been passionate. She’s always known what she wants and has never waited around for it to come to her. Callie makes things happen. She is a woman of action, of change. The oldest of four sisters, she’s been a role model as long as she can remember. She was mom when her Mom couldn’t be. Being the oldest in a large family means she a lot of responsibility, especially when it comes to working with children. She knows how children think, and she knows that you cannot treat every kid the same. You must talk to them each as if they’re special, help them in their own way in order for them to learn, to grow into the unique individuals they will become. Callie has great ties with her family, especially with her sisters and when one of her sisters, Peyton, was lost, Callie took much of the blame onto herself. Peyton’s death devastated her, and she vowed that she would do everything she can to prevent another tragedy like that of her sister from happening again.

Callie’s move to university opened her up from the small world that was her and her family, now extending her loving care to everyone who needs her. She often tells others that her door is open to everyone, and should anyone need someone to talk to, Callie will be there for them. Callie’s an Alpha Lambda girl, and has been since she started at TEI. She was a freshman when Alpha Lambda was only a year old, and knew the girls who created the sorority. She believed strongly in the core beliefs that Alpha Lambda was founded on, focusing on the uniquness of the individual. Today, she is the president of Alpha Lambda and her goal for her year before she graduates is to repair the relations between Alpha Lambda and Gamma Rho.

+ Nurturing, Generous, Intelligent

Connections

Elle Song: Elle is the baby of the family. And Callie is the oldest. Now that they’ve moved away from their parents, of course Callie has taken a motherly attitude with Elle. Plus, after what happened with Peyton, Callie is extra protective with Elle. She doesn’t know what she’d do if she lost another sister. She’d never be able to forgive herself.

Emily Song: Emily and Callie are closer with each other than any of the other sisters. Callie seems to be the only to ‘get’ Emily, and Callie seems to be the only one to treat her exactly as she wants. Callie’s motherly to both of her sisters, but Emily seems the most receptive to it. Now that they share the sorority as well, the girls seem to only have grown closer than before.

Helen Sprig: Callie has high hopes for Helen. These girls are the leader of the two sororities on campus, and although the greek houses have a rough past in relation to one another, Callie hopes to bring peace to the feud. Helen has seem responsive to Callie’s desire, but it seems Helen has been avoiding giving Callie a direct solution. Callie has to find Helen if she is to repair the relations between the two greek houses.

Payton Blue, the modern day Poseidon, has worked hard to get where he is. He’s had to work, contrary to some people on campus who’s lives were handed to them. Payton’s had to build his success, and he’s showing no signs of stopping. and in his junior year, he plans to take another step towards the top as he runs for president of Epsilon Delta Phi.
